The Regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) 2005 places ownership of all matters of fire safety on the Responsible Person.
This is any person who has some level of control within a premises, this can be the owner, an employer, the occupant or any other person who has a degree of control over a part of the premises.
The Responsible Person must take reasonable and sufficient steps to reduce the risk from fire and make sure people can escape safely if there is a fire. This includes employers ensuring all members of staff in their employment are sufficiently trained in what to do in the event of a fire.

Safe Use Of Fire Extinguishers
2 Hours (1/4 Day)
Anyone who may be called upon to use a fire extinguisher must be trained in it's use. Selecting the wrong type of extinguisher for the wrong classification of fire can have catastrophic results. This course focusses on correct selection of and practical application of extinguisher media. Best when combined with another course.
